Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Where is my Money (WIMM), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

WIMM is operated by Jigsawme, based in India.

2. Description of Service

WIMM is a personal expense tracking application that allows you to:

• Record cash-in and cash-out transactions with notes and timestamps
• Organise transactions into named expense books
• Share books with other users by email for collaborative tracking
• Import historical transactions via CSV files
• View real-time balance summaries across all books

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password
• You must be at least 13 years old to use this app
• One account per person — you may not share your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to use WIMM to:

• Record or share illegal financial activity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the app or its APIs
• Upload malicious content or attempt to disrupt the service

5. Book Sharing and Collaboration

• Book Owners can add and remove members and delete the book entirely
• Book Members can add transactions and view the full book history
• Members can leave a book at any time from the book settings
• When a book is deleted by its owner, all transactions and member data are permanently removed
• Only invite users you trust — all members can view the complete transaction history of a shared book

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of WIMM is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the app, you consent to the data practices described therein.

7. Data Accuracy

WIMM is a tool to help you track your own financial data. We do not verify the accuracy of the data you enter. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your financial records.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will attempt to notify users of significant changes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jigsawme shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of WIMM, including but not limited to loss of data or financial decisions made based on data recorded in the app.

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@jigsawme.com.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
